Lue Brass Dessert Spoon #14, handcrafted by Japanese metalworker Ruka Kikuchi (aka Lue). Lue creates fine brass items at his small studio in Setouchi city, Okayama.
This spoon is beautifully slim, long and it also makes a great muddler for your favourite drink.
The nature of brass is such that it darkens and oxidises with use, as it reacts to the air and natural oils on the skin. Each is unique, featuring little scratches up-close where the craftsman has been at work.
Take note of the fine imperfections, a signature from Lue himself.
